The idea of starting a manufacturing business for the production of high-quality cattle feed was incepted in the minds of the founder in the year 1991. They went on to set up the first unit of manufacturing in Bharua Sumerpur in Uttar Pradesh in the same year. By the end of 1992, the manufacturing unit was equipped to produce fifty tonnes of premium cattle feed based on a manual plant.
After five years of a successful production of cattle feed at the Bharua Sumerpur manufacturing unit, the founders decided to shift their factory to Tatiyaganj, Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The production capacity of the new unit was the same as the old one. But the goods were now produced under the name of Kapila Krishi Udhyog. In 2014, the company ventured into setting up its first solvent plant that made and processed the raw material called DORB. DORB stands for de-oiled rice bran.
