Isn’t it amazing a mother creating skin care products in the kitchen for her baby turns out to be famous worldwide today? Her journey takes back to the day when one day while bathing her daughter she noticed her baby’s skin around her wrist was starting to peel off. Later on, she noticed the same thing on her knees, ankles, and chin.
This was horrific for the mother to watch her baby’s skin turning into the condition she was suffering from. Sheetal Kabra (the baby’s mother) had Eczema, unfortunately now she could see that happening to her daughter. Seeing the affected skin shocked her for a moment as to how the skin could be so dry to start peeling off after an oil massage. The first step she took after the incident was to keep the commercial skin care products away from her baby.
Moreover, she started her research on all the products her baby’s skin was exposed to. Finally, after thorough research, she came to learn that the baby soap she was using was the main culprit. Sheetal furthermore noticed that as soon as she stopped using the baby soap, the skin improved. That’s when she stepped into necessary research and learnt that the kitchen ingredients are safer for the skin than the ones used in commercial products.
Birth of the Earthy Sapo
Above all, kitchen ingredients are generally available easily at home. Her deep learning, thorough research, and constant practice happened to create a soap for her baby which gave the best imaginable results. Little did she know that her efforts and the homemade product were going to be the organic skincare star in time coming ahead. The soap she was making had an excellent result on Eczema skin, so Sheetal decided to sell them in the market thinking that it would be great for people with such skin.
Gradually, her product started selling off well and the demand rose. It was now impossible for the production to take place in the kitchen. Hence, she moved to a workshop in Hyderabad where eight women from Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh gave their all to meet the production needs. Sheetal had also begun to create other skincare products as well and she named her products ‘Earthy Sapo.’
The range is available in shampoo, soaps, and cream. All of these products are of course made up of completely natural ingredients such as shampoo from reetha, shikakai, Multani etc. And, soaps and creams from almond oil, coconut oil, neem, etc. Earthy Sapo fulfils 3500 orders every month and sells worldwide such as US, Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore.

According to the reviews, the Eczema cream works wonderfully though the result takes time, the smell is greater and does not create irritation on the Eczema skin.
