Simarpreet Singh’s father was already working in the power sector. So, he had a kick inside him related to this field which was hit by an event that took place many years ago. He visited a village which had no electricity. Simarpreet Singh couldn’t help but think how the villagers must be living their lives without electricity. Moreover, he was also bewildered that nobody had yet taken the initiative to bring light into this village.
That’s when the thought of solar energy and how it could change the region set foot into his head. Most importantly, not only that region but several others like it. Also, he needed to do things differently regarding this initiative as there were many others in the market to compete with his idea. Of course, the others were not to be as considerate as Simarpreet for the people of the village. He knew that his first priority was to keep in mind what was indeed required. Installing merely solar energy was not going to be sufficient.
What did he finally bring to the plate?
Firstly, Simarpreet’s company stood out from the rest of the competitors. Secondly, the reason was his unique and absolutely necessary customised solar kit. He launched Hartek Solar in 2017. The idea was to render clean and affordable energy solutions to such regions in India. His customising solar kits consider every household’s needs.
Let’s see how the installation and the kit work! The company sends an engineer to the house who does the installation according to the customer’s preferences and budget. Unlike others who install a standard 10 kWp set-up, Simarpreet’s company designs it according to the customer’s budget and requirements.
