New Delhi, 15th July 2025: Following the resounding success of its debut edition in 2024, the celebrated Mohan Brothers Lakshay Mohan ( Sitar) and Aayush Mohan ( Sarod) return with the highly anticipated second edition of Monsoon Ragas on 21st August at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.
This live concert promises to take listeners on an immersive journey of monsoon melodies through the Jugalbandi. They transport you into a world of melodic rains and rhythmic thunder, capturing the spirit of the monsoon through the timeless art of Indian classical music.
In this unique concert featuring seasonal Ragas traditionally associated with the rains. The internationally acclaimed Mohan Brothers, Lakshay Mohan and Aayush Mohan – present a soulful Sitar & Sarod jugalbandi, bringing alive the romance, vitality, and longing of the monsoon through intricate musical dialogues.
This rare duet between the Sitar and Sarod is a harmonious blend of two of the most expressive and technically demanding instruments in Indian classical music. A long-standing tradition that is now a rarity, the jugalbandi is elevated by the brothers’ deep connection, artistic sensitivity, and perfectly attuned musical vision.
They will be accompanied by the masterful rhythms of Pt. Ramkumar Mishra on Tabla and the resonant depth of Pt. Fatehsingh Gangani on Pakhawaj, adding dynamic layers to this evocative musical experience.

ABOUT THE MOHAN BROTHERS
Lakshay Mohan (Sitar) and Aayush Mohan (Sarod).
The Mohan Brothers are among the leading exponents of Indian classical instrumental music on the global stage today. Known for their technical precision, emotional depth, and soulful expression, they are the first Indian instrumentalists to be invited to perform at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
They have graced prestigious venues and festivals worldwide including Royal Festival Hall, London (with Anoushka Shankar for Pandit Ravi Shankar’s centenary), Berklee College of Music, Boston; Symphony Space, New York; Musical Instrument Museum, Phoenix; Central Conservatory of Music, China; Sawai Gandharva Festival, Pune; Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan, Mumbai; and Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa.
Their album releases, including “Echoes from the Yellow Land” and “The Majestic Court” by Times Music, have been widely acclaimed. They were mentored and launched internationally by the legendary Pt.
