Pranah Sandbox Private Limited today announced the world’s first social media network app PRIDE+ exclusively for the worldwide LGBTQIA+ community. The app has been launched on the Apple App Store (iOS), Google Play Store (Android) and Apple Vision Pro. PRIDE+ is a holistic app that has been designed and developed keeping in mind the different members’ needs for professional, personal and universal use.
Speaking on the launch, Aayush Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer, Pranah Sandbox, said, “This is the most complete and landmark launch in the app world specific to the LGBTQIA+ group wherein we have put something precious yet useful in the hands of the LGBTQIA+ community. PRIDE+ is unique as its features provide members with more than just connecting on a social platform. It provides a safe space for members and offers opportunities not found on most other similar applications.”
PRIDE+ gives users complimentary access to post Trings, like them and share them, provides opportunities to post Jobs or get hired, a provision to create or enter Chats and have Chatrooms as well as a Marketplace to run businesses typically for queer members for buying and selling merchandise and services, along with Communities, Meditation and more.
The genesis of PRIDE+ began in 2018 and the experiences of glaring exposure to discrimination at the workplace as observed by Aayush prior to his entrepreneur days in the entertainment industry.
The motto of the company “What we create here, makes the world a better place” strongly but gently imbibes this in its every cause, product and action. To this end, Aayush Agrawal further stated,” The ability to provide a high-quality app requires some amount of financial impetus. We are open to investors and like-minded corporates or individuals who are supportive and see a good and worthy cause to further fund this app so that we can realize the app’s full potential and further add product extensions.”
This, he strongly believes will provide the LGBTQIA+ members to be more positive, more confident and willing contributors and members of society at large as well as by meaningfully contribute to the economies at the macro level. The company plans to add more features to PRIDE+ which include education, events, therapy programs and a gender-fluid clothing line, among others.
Prior to Pranah Sandbox, Aayush was associated with the entertainment industry. He has worked with leading global broadcasting and OTT platform companies such as Amazon, Netflix, Disney and Sony Pictures. This is not all as he has also tirelessly earned awards with 30 on-air projects, think tanks and different video services besides running a production house. His contributions also include speaking opportunities and conducting workshops with the likes of SRFTII, Action Lab 2050, and Metaverse to mention a few.
Today as CEO of Pranah Sandbox, a unique company that has carved a niche for itself that stands by the LGBTQIA+ community as well as addressing other key issues of women’s health care, mental health issues, gender equality to the extent of identifying himself as a feminist and an LGBTQIA+ Ally.
